Milton, a village located in the South coastal area of New South Wales, Australia, falls within the boundaries of the City of Shoalhaven. Established in 1860 it was named after the property of George Knight, who served as the postmaster. Throughout the past centuries, Milton played a role, as a key regional center of the area. Presently it stands as one of the centers in the Milton Ulladulla region. Hosting a population of 1,663 according to the 2016 census Milton serves as a rest stop for travelers along the Princes Highway. In times there has been a revival in Milton spurred by local tourism and an increase, in residents seeking a change of scenery. The introduction of areas, unique boutiques, cozy cafes and charming bed and breakfast establishments have all contributed to its rejuvenation.
